Will this work on my breed?
Yes. The behaviors don't change much by breed in the first six months — the energy and intensity do, and the plan adapts to that. We don't recommend differently because you have a Lab vs. a Frenchie for the same biting or potty pattern.

How is this different from the other puppy apps?
Most puppy apps are text — one is lessons plus a chat trainer, another is a chatbot, another grades tricks. A few newer apps can watch a clip. Fair question. A free app can give you a read on a clip. What it can't give you is the part that actually changes your puppy: a plan built only for the first six months, and three specific reps sent to your phone every morning so you do the work on the days you'd otherwise skip. The diagnosis is the easy 10%. The daily follow-through is the 90% that gets the biting down — and that's the part we charge for. If you just want a one-time read, the free apps are genuinely fine. Why a morning reminder instead of a streak?
Because every training app dies the same way — it asks you to open it every day, and by day four you don't. Whelp sends three reps before breakfast; you tick them off and tomorrow's plan adjusts. No streak to protect, nothing to remember. Text-message reminders are on the roadmap as a separate opt-in once carrier registration clears.

My puppy is fear-biting / resource-guarding / showing real aggression. Will Whelp help?
No. Those need a veterinary behaviorist with eyes on the puppy in person. Whelp will recognize that in the diagnosis and tell you not to use the app for it. We are not the right tool for that, and we will not pretend to be.

Do I need to keep my puppy on the plan forever?
No. Most users solve the acute problem and stop subscribing within 4 to 6 months. We're okay with that. We'd rather you fix the problem than churn slowly.
